Refund policy
30 day exchange policy on Wetsuits / Jackets / Rashtops / Booties - Ultimate Surf & Skate ONLINE SHOPPING
We understand that wetsuits, jackets, jackets, booties and the like can be hard to size properly. Therefore we offer a 30 day exchange or credit service for our online orders (includes sale items).
Return postage to be paid for by the customer, as well as postage to send a replacement size.
CREDIT OR REFUNDS:
ALL credit and refunds are at our discretion.
If we decide to give you a credit or refund, the value that we credit or refund you is the price of the item you've paid, take away shipping costs (if you've got free shipping upon purchasing the item).
Remember, we paid to ship your items to you. We are not at fault that the item does not fit you or that you do not want the item anymore.
Conditions apply:
Returned items MUST be in original, unworn, unwashed condition with tags & packaging (where applicable) still intact in order for us to hang it back up to be sold again.
All sunglasses, surfboards, skateboards and hardware accessory purchases are non-refundable & non-exchangeable.
Ultimate Surf & Skate may refuse to credit or exchange if items do not meet the returns criteria mentioned above at our discretion.
WARRANTY RETURNS
Warranties are product-specific and do not apply to all items.
A dated proof of purchase must be supplied (we keep electronic copies of all customers, sales and receipt, please ensure you give us as much info as possible).
The best way to deal with any warranty is to email us a photo of the product including all faults as detailed as possible to shop@ultimatesurfnskate.co.nz
Ultimate Surf & Skate will do our best to facilitate the return on your behalf with the supplier/brand and may be required to send the item back to the supplier for assessment.
Warranty returns may take up to 14 working days to process.
The supplier has the right to decide if there is a manufacturing issue or defect in accordance with their set terms & conditions and may choose to repair, refund, or a refusal of either.
If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the cost of the repair will be charged to the customer.
Please note surfboards / sup are not covered by warranty for breakage, fin plug damage, delamination (case by case) and other customer-at-fault scenarios.
RETURN YOUR ORDER IN STORE
This is our preferred method of returns as we can assess the situation at hand immediately and try come up with a solution as best as we can. Online orders can be returned to our store at Unit 4/11 Arrenway Drive, Rosedale, Auckland 0632.
Refunds or exchanges can be processed on the spot, however payments made using Laybuy will need to be processed through our online store and we will advice on this.
RETURN FREIGHT
Return part or all of your online order by post, only after contacting and given the confirmation by one of our team. Please return to Unit 4/11 Arrenway Drive, Rosedale, Auckland 0632.
Return freight charges are not covered by Ultimate Surf & Skate unless we are at fault.

Please note that whilst we try our best to fit you correctly into a wetsuit or any clothing - ultimately the responsibility comes down to you making the decision to buy the product.
If you buy a wetsuit based on our recommendation, wear it out in the water, find that it's too big or too small - we cannot provide any sort of return / exchange / or refund. YOU MAKE THE FINAL DECISION.
SURFBOARDS / BODYBOARDS / SUP BOARDS:
Please note that whilst we try our best to fit you correctly onto a surfboard based on your skill level, fitness level, and style of riding - ultimately the responsibility comes down to you making the decision to buy the product.
If you buy a board based on our recommendation, take it to the water, find that it's too buoyant or not enough volume - we cannot provide any sort of return / exchange / or refund. YOU MAKE THE FINAL DECISION.
ITEMS ORDERED IN SPECIFICALLY / DEPOSIT / FULL AMOUNT PAID ON ITEMS ON THE WAY FROM WAREHOUSE TO SHOP:
There is a significant amount of cost involved in ordering something specific, or pre-booking out an item - therefore no returns / refunds / or exchange is allowed. If a deposit or the full amount is paid, no refunds will be given if you change your mind. We have booked the item out for you specifically.
Unless there has been a significant delay of delivering or getting in the item at our own fault (at our discretion), we may offer a credit, exchange or refund. Please call or email our team in this instance.
